On October 11, 2018, 5 members of One Better World (OBW) arranged a workshop on menstruation hygiene with the tagline “Menstruation matters to everyone, everywhere”.

Menstruation or period are often counted as taboo in this sub-continent. Regardless of its significance to mankind, people always showed a negative perspective towards it from the beginning of time. They even ignore the health risk for women due to their unconsciousness about this matter. To protect our women, these taboos should be broken down and women themselves should know more about their hygiene. In order to enlighten women and young girls, One Better World has arranged this workshop.

The event ended by distributing all the young girls with Freedom sanitary pads provided by ACI Pharmaceuticals, to motivate the practice of using hygienic sanitary pads from future onwards. About 50 women and young girls were reached through this event
