On 9-10 July 2018; One Better World (OBW) and The Commonwealth Student’s Welfare Group of India (CSWGI) brought together about 45 delegates from both the commonwealth countries, Bangladesh and India through the 1st India Bangladesh Commonwealth Youth Conclave (IBCYC) in British Council. This two day long program allowed the delegates go though sessions with many of the dignitaries’ like-
H.E. Dr Shri Biren Sikder,Honourable Minister of State for Youth & Sports,Govt of Bangladesh.
Ms Mussarat Maisha Reza, Chairperson, Commonwealth Students Association
Mr Hari Om, President & Youth Chairman, The Commonwealth Students’ Welfare Group of India (CSWGI), Regional Youth Coordinator for Royal Commonwealth Society London
Outstanding Queens’s young leaders Mr Osama bin noor, Mr Shamim Ahmed, Arka chakraborty, Rahat Hossain.
Sadia Haque Jui, Founder, One Better World (OBW); Associate fellow, Royal Commonwealth Society.
Apart from that, delegates also appeared into group tasks where they found many of the social issues of both the countries and gave out astonishing solutions for each of them. The conclave provided delegates a path where they are more encouraged to initiate change among them and spread it to the world.
